As an Operations Associate, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth, accurate, and efficient functioning of our trading and post-trade operations.
You’ll collaborate closely with traders, engineers, and finance teams to support all aspects of the trading lifecycle—from trade capture and settlement to reconciliation and reporting.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and wants to gain exposure to the inner workings of a professional proprietary trading desk. Key Responsibilities
• Reconcile daily trading activity across centralized exchanges, custodians, and wallets.
• Monitor and verify settlements, balances, and cash movements to ensure data integrity and operational accuracy.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in positions, funding, and trade records in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with trading and engineering teams to enhance automation and streamline reporting processes.
• Assist in onboarding new exchanges, custodians, and counterparties, including KYC, API integrations, and account setup.
• Support P&L, balance sheet, and exposure reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to process and control improvements that scale with the firm’s growth.
• Interface with external partners (brokers, custodians, auditors) to ensure smooth daily operations. Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 2-5 years of experience in operations, middle office, or settlements within a trading firm, hedge fund, or financial institution.
• Familiarity with digital asset trading and settlement workflows is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets; knowledge of SQL or Python is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a high-performance environment with multiple moving parts.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Nice to Have
• Experience with crypto custody platforms (e.g., Fireblocks, Copper, Anchorage).
• Knowledge of exchange APIs and reconciliation tools.
• Exposure to treasury, collateral, or risk management in a trading context.
